I am finally back to blogging, vlogging and everything in between. Note that it may or may not take me countless hours watching Youtube Videos on How to use my Sony ZV1 camera (great for first time vloggers and currently $100 off), How to use Final Cut Pro (the most confusing editing platform in the world that experienced vloggers swear by) , and how to pose in front of the camera again so that I don’t have 5 chins. Yes this is a serious concern.
I have missed blogging immensely and whilst in the midst of “what the hell am I doing with my life” navigating a very rare medical diagnosis known as Paraneoplastic Syndrome (which I will make an entire post on soon but for now you can follow my instagram account dedicated to it) , I decided to focus on the things I’m truly passionate about.
I’ve always been a creative at heart. From sketching and designing clothes at 15, starting my blog at 18, styling photo shoots for Teen Vogue at 20, getting into real estate at 24, and becoming a social media manager for a top marketing firm at 27. What do these things all have in common? Self branding, creating and marketing.
Aspens now 9 years old and almost as tall as me (where does the time go!). He has the biggest heart in the world and loves to play soccer, lego and Roblox. Bluebelle our Cocker spaniel is 3 (28 in dog years according to google) and the biggest mush. We call her Eeyore.
I think one of the biggest take aways from 2023 is to cherish each day. If you have a house over your head, food in the fridge, your health and your families health-thats a reason to be grateful. Do I morn the life I thought I would have at this age vs my current situation? yes. But am I confident that I will maneuver my way back to health and happiness? also yes.
