To those drooling over Liam Hemsworth, or those questioning Miley’s recent antics (of dying her hair blonde, then chopping her hair off, followed by dying her hair white), it has been reported that the two have split.

Despite the 20 year old Hannah Montana star insisting that she and her 23 year old fiance were still together. A sources told the New York Post’s page six that the couple have called “time” on their relationship. A source told the news paper that “Miley and Liam are done; It’s over. She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him. He needed to get away from Los Angeles and spend time with his brother and friends”.

Another source added that the couple had called it quits because Miley was constantly worried that the actor had a “wandering eye”. “They have broken up before, and are broke up again now. There was drama because she suspected he had a wandering eye ‘she recently tweeted a denial that he cheated. While Miley has insisted they are still together, right now they are very, very much apart.’”the insider claimed.

Liam flew out to Australia late last week, and was out today in his native country with his mother Leonie. The two got engaged last summer, when the actor got down on one knee and proposed with a 3.5 carrot diamond Neil Lane ring. It was reported that the Aussie flew home to Australia because he needed a “break” from his fiance.

Miley is adamant her and Liam are still together, despite taking her engagement ring off to “make him mad”, reported a source last week. “She is crazy about Liam, but sometimes doesn’t treat him great. She likes things her way and tends to play games. Liam is also a strong person and that why they often butt heads”

Reports that there was trouble between the two, arose after it was alleged that Liam and Mad Men actress January Jones got “hot and heavy” at a pre-Oscars party last month. 35 year old Jones declined to address the claims, staying resolutely silent as she was hit with a barrage of questions about the alleged flirtation.

Miley’s been on a tweeting spree, telling her followers that she’s “not discussing anything but my music from now on. My new music is gonna shut everyone up.” Continuing “I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn’t call of my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining.” But hours later she followed up with more tweets, and a day later (last thursday) she was seen out partying with mutual friend Paul Khoury, at a house party in North Hollywood. The only thing missing was her engagement ring.
