Did you know that the average New York bagel ranges from 350-800 calories? I decided to make our own this weekend and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! All you need is some flour, greek yogurt, baking soda, and salt (for a simple plain homemade bagel). If you’re feeling adventurous you can also use an egg wash and Everything But The Bagel Seasoning.
INGREDIENTS (serves 1)
1/4 cup white flour
1/4 cup 0% Greek yogurt
1/8 tsp baking soda
Dash of salt
Dash of cinnamon sugar (for cinnamon raisin)
5 g raisins (for cinnamon raisin)
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Mix Flour, Greek Yogurt, and salt in a bowl 2) Keep mixing until you can form a ball of dough (add extra ingredients if needed..in this case, cinnamon, and raisins) 4) Form bagel shape and pop into the air fryer for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. If you want to season it (with EBTB seasoning or sesame seeds etc then use an egg wash after forming the bagel shape and sprinkle it on both sides!)
