If you think that Emma Watson is playing Anastasia Stelle in the bestselling novel that I never read, or desired to read “Fifty shades of grey” you are entirely incorrect. Outraged Emma ruled herself out of staring in the film and told her fans on Twitter that the rumors of her staring in the movie are entirely untrue.
The 22 year old actress tweeted on Sunday “Who here actually thinks I would do 50 shades of Gray as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life.”The actress seemed bewildered that her fans would even think that she would consider the role, and later followed up posting “Good. Well that’s sorted then”.
The role of Anastasia, who is introduced to the world of bondage (and kinky sex ) by love interest of Christian Grey, would definitely be quite a jump from Emma’s previous movies.
However Emma is trying to shed her good girl image earnt from the Harry potter franchise, by stripping down to a bra in a recent sneak peak of the upcoming film “The Bling Ring”.
The British and world known actress plays the leading role in the movie, directed by Sofia Coppola about the real life Bling Ring, or The Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch as they were known as (and arrested as) in 2009 for mutiple of break ins at the homes of people like Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton.
But Emma isn’t the only one rumored to play the role of Anastasia in the highly anticipated film. Kristen Stewart, Nina Dobrev, and Mila Kunis are amongst other stars who have been suggested for the part.
Kira Knightley was also linked to the list, but also quite unenthusiastic about taking on the raunchy role. When she was asked if her next project would be a more risqué adaptation than she has done in the past she replied “No, it’s not. It’s not going to be Fifty Shades of Grey” also adding in that “I normally don’t like to give a definite about anything, but I can definitely say it will not be Fifty Shades of Grey”.
Meanwhile when it comes to who will play Mr. Christian Grey, starts such as Ryan Gosling Zac Efron, and Ian Somerhalder (Nina Dobrev’s, real life boyfriend) have been rumored.
Speaking to Ian about whether he would want to star in the film Ian replied “There are so many young boys up for this role. I think they have a very big job ahead of them, casting this role..So I can’t say anything other than, it’s a very interesting story and whoever plays that role is going to have a lot of fun rehearsal time!”
