As promised, my daily life update adhering to F-Factor step one. I’m not even sure where to start, or why I decided to publicly document this during a paramedic BUT ..here we go. I’m yet to decide If I want to plan out my meals the day before, or go with whatever I’m In the mood for – I’m thinking it’s best to go with the flow and document it after the fact. It helps me feel less restricted.
Usually I like to do my workouts first thing in the morning. I’ve been loving Melissa Wood (read my review here), Megan Roup’s (Sculpt Society) and Peloton workouts with my make-shift Peloton. With that said-I’m going to try a Peloton workout this afternoon to see if I have more energy than “fasted-cardio”. I used to intermittent fast, but that lead to mindlessly binging and consuming way to many calories at once. It’s much better for me to spread my meals out.
***DAY ONE***
Breakfast 10.30am
- F-factor Waffles (made with 2 scoops f-factor 20/20 unflavored powder, and 4 egg whites with 1 tbsp Choc zero Maple Syrup)
- Spinach & Mushrooms (sauted)
Thoughts: This was delicious and filling. I’m also making it a goal to drink one huge bottle of Evan water before/after my meals.
Lunch 1.30PM
- 1/2 cup Julian’s Bakery Progranola with 10% Greek Yogurt & 3/4 cup blueberries
- Spinach/Kale/Arugula salad with tomatoes and carrots (with balsamic vinegar)
Thoughts: I paid $15 for a bag of granola in an economic downfall. I’m glad I liked it. I feel like this can be eaten savory or sweet. In the future I would def eat the salad before the yogurt but I was hungry and in a rush!
Snack 3.15pm
- F-Factor 20/20 shake (2 scoops) blended with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and ice. I made 1/2 Vanilla and the other 1/2 chocolate with 1 tbsp SF Hershey syrup.
Thoughts: I just ate lunch so I’m not that hungry. Regardless the point of a snack in between lunch & dinner is to “spoil” your appetite for dinne
Dinner 6.15pm
- Green salad, with steamed mixed vegs
- Cauliflower rice with 1 tbsp of Nutritional Yeast
- Seaweed
- Shrimp and 3oz of baked cod
Thoughts: I’m full but still want dessert which is a habit I need to snap out of! Going to aim for coffee or tea instead.
So there we have it. Day one – step 1 in the books! Guilty confusion? I had some sugar free jello with FF whipped cream for dessert (totally not allowed nor pictured – but giving myself a pass as I was craving something sweet). Tomorrow is a new day!
