Every Monday I have a pretty strict routine. Wake up, put the kettle on, Work, and workout before Zoom meetings begin. If I don’t get my full body Sculpt Society workout in before sitting at a computer for hours straight, I go stir crazy. And thats exactly what happened this morning. After posting my “What I eat in a day- F-Factor Reset” last night I ended up eating two squares of Dark Chocolate. I felt a little bit guilty, but remembered the importance of modification.
Breakfast 8am
- 1 cup 0% Greek yogurt mixed with 1 tbsp Almond powder and 30 Lily’s chocolate chips
- 1 pack of Crepini Egg thins with 1 tbsp Choczero maple syrup
Thoughts: Cookie dough for breakfast? Don’t mind if I do! If you’re feeling extra sassy, add in a pinch of salt and a dash of stevia for the perfect combo. As for the Crepini egg thins..I turned these into pancakes and trust me when I tell you that I will be RUNNING back to the store for more. They were absolutely delicious (and have 0 carbs).
Lunch 1Pm
- Greek salad (romaine, tomato, cucumber, beets, feta) with cauliflower rice, seaweed (for a salty crunchy kick), carrots and 2 tbsp Bolthouse Farm’s balsamic vinaigrette
- 4 GG Crackers
Thoughts: Lunch was a little bit of a mess starting with the damn cauliflower rice exploding in the microwave. I snacked on carrots while it took me 30 minutes to clean up the rice everywhere in the microwave, which then fell onto the stove, followed by a sticky mess on the floor that Aspen then walked straight into complaining he was hungry and requesting dinosaur Chicken Nuggets. A typical Monday for you! To add a little bit of volume, I added the Cauliflower rice to the Greek salad and topped it with Bolthouse Balsamic. The dressing was way to sweet and the rice took away flavor from the Feta. Going forward I would omit the cauliflower rice and go for a red wine vinegar. GG crackers were eaten as an after thought to avoid bread….
Snack 3Pm
- Built Bar (frozen) If you haven’t tried a Built Bar I highly recommend. My favorite flavor is double chocolate. It tastes like a chocolate bar that melts in your mouth!
- Kale salad with approx 1 oz of Salmon
- Low Carb (Greek yogurt) Cheesecake + 1/2 cup Fage
Thoughts: Recognizing that I wasn’t even hungry and completely ate this out of stress after being on the phone with insurance for 45 minutes. Paired it with a cup of English breakfast tea.
Dinner 540Pm
Thoughts: Being 100% transparent (as usual) I really haven’t felt 100% all day which is why I think my meals have been so odd. Not an ideal F-Factor dinner, but still under 35 net carbs for the day. The cheesecake and Greek yogurt add up to 7.5 carbs total. I tried to be healthy with the kale salad and salmon but I really wasn’t feeling good. Hoping for an early nights sleep and a fresh start tomorrow!
