Each and every year as we grow older, we grow wiser. We learn to accept what we loathe about ourselves, and learn to love what we once liked about ourselves.It’s important to live every day like it’s your last. Enjoy weighing 120 pounds before your older, wearing short dresses that elongate your legs, show off your arms, and give you that extra boost of confidence.
But as we started to go deeper into our conversation we both agreed that the reason we choose to dress up is a personal choice. Despite places having dress codes, or choosing to cease them It’s an extra boost of self confidence when you can go out in casual clothing, and get through any door.
And really, if you’re going out each and everyday, who wants to get dressed up all the time? As Kate Spade Famously quoted “Playing dress up begins at age five and never truly ends.” What makes “dressing up” special in the first place is the paucity of it. It’s something that we don’t do everyday, unless of course your Kim Kardashian and want to make the front of every enquire magazine or be compared to Shamoo the whale.
With that being said, If I’m going out each and every night in the summer weather it be in the Hampton’s or in NYC, I may also be more casual. And embrace confidence in whatever I wear.
