Celebrating Valentines Day Single may sound depressing, but trust me when I say at 29 years of age (and single) I had the best Valentines Day yesterday. It was spent in sweats and a face-mask. I decided it was the perfect opportunity to get some work done, study my health coaching course, and eat some chocolate lingering in my freezer. My favorite brand and flavor is currently HU Chocolate. I know, I know, this isn’t sponsored or a sales pitch but there Raspberry Jelly Cashew Butter Bar literally melts in your mouth. Even Frozen. I like to break it up one square at a time and enjoy. Are the bars expensive? YES but worth it? also yes.
Roses
After feeling sorry for my (very single) self, I decided to do a BBG full body workout and make my favorite strawberry cauliflower rice smoothie As ridiculous as it sounds, having a yummy breakfast after working out gives me motivation, it’s just something to look forward to. I also decided that it was time to delete Bumble & Hinge (two dating apps that have continuously failed me). I haven’t dated since my breakup almost a year and a half ago. Dating is hard enough as it is, but especially during a pandemic. I’m also at a point in my life where I know exactly what I want and what I don’t want in a partner-so I’ve decided to focus all of my energy into bettering myself and skillset(s) instead, and when the time is right I am confident that the right man will come along.
After Lunch time my parents and siblings surprised me. Every year on Valentine’s my Dad does something special for each of his daughters. This year he bought us Jewelry and sent Venus Et Fleur Roses. I’ve always wanted one (or some!) so I was delighted and immediately opened the box and placed it on my bookshelf. I was also in love with my beautiful Bangle, which I wore and posted immediately. Hermes is such a timeless brand, and Jewelry is something that you can have and cherish forever. Here are a few more photos that I took:

And there you have it..proof that celebrating valentines day single can be fun! It’s important to cherish everything that you do have rather than the one thing you may not have (In my case: a Prince Charming.)
