It’s funny because it’s true. I stoped talki

It’s funny because it’s true. I stoped talking about my health on here because I was told “No one cares”Which is true (to an extent)We all go to Instagram for the highlight reel, who moved, who got married, who had a baby.. my list goes on and on. My diagnosis is also extremely medically complex. How do I come on here and explain that I have Paraneoplastic syndrome with an unspecified malignant neoplasm attacking my body? (Such a mouthful) and how do I also explain that why I can look fine and act fine that I’m secretly in a battle.. balancing doctors, scans, blood work and treatment knowing that there isn’t (yet) a cure but rather a maintenance plan to keep everything stable at bay. After freezing my eggs and receiving the kindest messages from strangers I realized that as much as I was sharing for others to feel less alone, I was also sharing for myself. To help me feel less alone during my new “normal”. So whilst this account will mostly be life in general, I’ve also decided to share the not so glamorous parts again #health #hope #paraneoplasticsyndrome #fcancer #life #update
